Mechanical Assessor III

Job Overview

Conduct on-site facility condition assessments with a multidisciplinary team. Evaluate HVAC, ductwork, piping, cooling towers, chillers, and boilers. Collaborate with clients to assess assets at a walk rate of 100k–225k sq ft per day. Provide written descriptions of observed systems and deficiencies. Determine overall condition and remaining useful life of each system. Provide recommendations to correct deficiencies and rough cost estimates for planning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in mechanical and plumbing facility assessments
• Healthcare or educational facility experience preferred
• Experience evaluating HVAC, piping, and other mechanical systems
• Travel up to 40% for out-of-town assignments; field and office mix
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication; MS Office proficiency
• Degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering a plus
