Mechanical Analyst Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Mechanical Analyst & Team Lead to oversee structural and thermal analysis across various hardware units. This role involves defining modeling strategies, solving complex multi-physics problems, and providing leadership to the analysis team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural and thermal analysis across hardware units.
• Define modeling strategies and verification methods.
• Solve high-complexity, multi-physics problems.
• Lead and execute complex analysis work and set direction.
• Support day-to-day management of the analysis team.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering and design teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in structural and/or thermal analysis.
• Deep expertise with FEA tools (NASTRAN, Simcenter, or similar).
• Experience with spacecraft-level analysis and qualification.
• Familiarity with ESA ECSS or NASA standards.
• Experience supporting both unit-level and system-level development.
• Experience defining or managing simulation toolchains.
