Lineman Position

Job Overview

Join our team as a Lineman where you will be responsible for access installations via ladders, crawl spaces, manholes, and trenches. Operating a bucket truck, climbing poles, and using standard tools are essential aspects of this role. This position requires out of town travel during the work week and the flexibility to work across underground and aerial divisions. Expect to work outside in varying conditions with potential overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Access installations via ladders, crawl spaces, manholes, and trenches.
• Safely operate a bucket truck and climb poles.
• Use standard tools for installation and maintenance tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship in the lineman trade or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL a plus.
• Proficient in fiber installation, splicing, and pole transfers.
• Knowledge of building strand, lashing, grounding, and repairing aerial lines.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and climb poles up to 30 ft.
• Pass background checks.
