Job Overview

Lead mechanical design of high-power electrical assemblies including DCDC, chargers, and controllers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and address propulsion challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of high-power electrical assemblies.
• Collaborate with various teams to optimize performance and address propulsion challenges.
• Detail components such as housings, brackets, insulation, and connectors.
• Analyze designs using heat transfer, thermal analysis, DFA, and structural calculations.
• Lead prototype builds and design validation testing.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant Mechanical Design experience.
• Demonstrated ability in designing high-voltage electronic assemblies.
• Strong mechanical design analysis skills in structural, thermal, heat transfer, and materials.
• Experience with 3D design tools, preferably with NX.
• Solid understanding of electrical design fundamentals.
