Extraction Technician Role

The Extraction Technician plays a vital role in the operation of extraction and refinement equipment, ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of biomass using various systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate extraction and refinement equipment, including solventless systems, short path distillation, and rotary evaporators.
• Prepare biomass through grinding, packing dry and fresh/frozen material, and execute hydrocarbon extraction processes with precision.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize extraction and lab equipment to ensure consistent performance and uptime.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), documenting batch records and production data accurately.
• Safely handle hazardous materials using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment, including sterilization of glassware and equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and execute technical processes consistently and accurately.
• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or lab environment, with a solid understanding of compliance and quality standards.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules.
• Comfortable using computer systems for data entry, material tracking, and documentation.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-driven environment.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with a proactive approach to learning new equipment and processes.
