Energy Market Development Lead

Job Overview

Act as the primary executive contact for U.S. utilities and grid operators at CoreWeave. Develop deep relationships with utility leadership and planning teams to drive market expansion and strategy execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions on power availability, load growth, and AI data centers
• Coordinate with legal/public policy on regulatory matters for large-load customers
• Develop market expansion and site strategies with utility alignment

Requirements & Qualifications

• 15+ years in electric utilities, energy infra, grid planning, or large-scale procurement
• Deep understanding of utility operations, transmission, distribution, and interconnections
• Proven track record building senior utility relationships
• Strong commercial instincts; experience negotiating infrastructure-heavy agreements
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, high-growth environments with execution pressure
• Preferred: data centers, hyperscalers, or ISO/RTO market experience
