The Lead Trainer for Drone Pilot Programs is responsible for delivering high-quality training to public safety agencies across a designated U.S. region. This role requires maintaining expert knowledge of BRINC sUAS platforms and overseeing the certification of regional contract trainers to uphold training standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training to public safety agencies on BRINC sUAS platforms.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of software and workflows associated with sUAS.
  • Oversee and assess the performance of regional contract trainers.
  • Travel up to 50% to customer locations and regional hubs.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Training to enhance training readiness.
  • Provide constructive feedback to product and engineering teams based on field training experiences.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is required.
  • Experience in training public safety personnel, especially in sUAS environments.
  • Background in public safety (law enforcement, fire/EMS, or emergency management).
  • Strong understanding of DFR concepts and UAS regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for instructional presentation and coaching.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and spend extended time in the field.
