Director of Engineering - Distribution

Own technical strategy and architecture for Distribution surfaces. Design loosely-coupled systems to protect the core monolith and scale services. Define SLOs/SLIs, runbooks and on-call; lead incident response. Build observability and dashboards for partner health and integration performance. Partner with Product and Commercial to translate GTM priorities into roadmaps. Build and grow high-performance engineering teams; adopt best practices and leverage AI. 10+ years engineering experience with 4+ years leading managers. Strong operational SRE/observability, incident leadership. Great people leader: hires well, develops managers, sets priorities. Experience designing, building and shaping high-scale distributed systems (platforms, integrations, services). Managing velocity while building for scale — balancing rapid delivery with architecture and maintainability. Experience modernizing legacy platforms — migrating monoliths to scalable architectures.
