Job Overview

As a Contract QA Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the safety and efficiency of an autonomous system during remote operation. Your on-site presence in the tractor will be key to system management and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and efficiency of autonomous system during remote operation
• Sit in the tractor as on-site contact for system management
• Conduct regular assessments to optimize performance and address inefficiencies
• Manually operate the tractor when remote driving is not feasible
• Identify and report technical or operational issues to remote drivers or the tech team

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience operating tractors or heavy machinery
• Prior experience with tractor maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks for extended periods
• Basic technical aptitude to troubleshoot minor issues
• Excellent communication with remote drivers and support team
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel as needed
