Composites Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Sr Composites Technician to join our team during the First Shift. This role is crucial in the manufacturing process, focusing on drilling precision holes in composites and metals, and assembling hardware with structural adhesives. You will be responsible for maintaining safety standards and fostering an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drill precision holes in composites and metals using correct drill motors and jigs.
• Assemble hardware with structural adhesives, torque fasteners, and install inserts or rivets.
• Hand trim composite hardware with cutoff wheels or routers and jigs/tools.
• Uphold Relativity safety standards and shop cleanliness.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of composites drilling and mechanical assembly experience in aerospace or similar fields.
• Fast-paced manufacturing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with engineering and production teams.
• Experience with forklift/crane operations for lifting flight hardware and tooling.
• Familiarity with calibrated tools such as torque wrenches and metrology tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Experience with MES software to document manufacturing operations.
• FAA A&P certificate is a plus.
