CAD Mechanical Engineering Expert

We are seeking a Master’s or PhD-level Mechanical Engineering expert with strong CAD expertise to support a leading AI lab through technical annotation, evaluation, and quality control of engineering data. In this remote role, you will review, annotate, and evaluate CAD images and mechanical engineering content used to train advanced AI systems, applying your expert judgment to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and review CAD drawings, mechanical diagrams, and engineering images.
• Evaluate annotations and perform quality control (QC) on mechanical and CAD datasets.
• Identify technical errors and ensure engineering accuracy and consistency.
• Provide expert feedback to improve evaluation guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field).
• Strong CAD expertise (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, assemblies, and mechanical components.
• Ability to perform structured evaluation and expert review of technical content.
