Job Overview

As a Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the US benefits strategy encompassing health, retirement, time off, and wellness. You will lead vendor and broker relationships, manage renewals, design benefit programs, and address any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be in charge of end-to-end open enrollment processes, including planning, setup, and audits. This role also involves driving domestic benefits strategy, including upcoming renewals and decisions regarding self-funded versus insured plans. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in designing and launching international benefits programs in new markets in collaboration with Deel. Your responsibilities will also include reporting, analytics, and tracking utilization to guide enhancements for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Own US benefits strategy across health, retirement, time off, and wellness
  • Lead vendor and broker relationships, renewals, design, and issue resolution
  • Manage open enrollment end-to-end, including planning, setup, and audits
  • Drive domestic benefits strategy, including 2027 renewal and self-funded vs insured
  • Lead design and launch of international benefits programs in new markets with Deel
  • Own reporting and analytics to track utilization and guide enhancements
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience managing U.S. employee benefits (health/welfare, retirement, and vendor relations)
  • Experience launching international benefits in new markets, ideally with an EOR or vendors
  • Strong expertise in ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and IRS regulations
  • Proven ownership of open enrollment cycles and ongoing benefits administration
  • Experience driving renewals, plan design, and cost modeling
  • Cross-functional partner with Payroll, Finance, and Accounting for compliance
