Associate Vulnerability Management Engineer

Process and author vulnerability report mechanisms per internal requirements. Advise IT/product teams; understand environments and compensating controls for critical vulns. Suggest non-patching alternatives to mitigate vulnerability risks. Collect and process vulnerability lifecycle evidence for audits. Maintain tooling health, functionality, and reporting for vulnerability management. Identify gaps and contribute to vulnerability management policies and procedures. 1+ years in vulnerability management reporting, metrics, scanning, and prioritization. Hands-on with vulnerability tools: Tenable, Wiz, Qualys, Rapid7. Experience evaluating vulnerability severity using internal/external factors. Strong communication with tactical staff and senior leadership. Understanding methods to address vulnerabilities and maintain compliance. Coordinating with multiple teams to manage remediation.
