We are seeking a Research Associate II/III for Assay Development on a contract basis. This role involves testing and troubleshooting various molecular biology, ligand binding, and protein assays in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and troubleshoot molecular biology, ligand binding, and protein assays.
  • Perform qPCR, ddPCR, and nucleic acid extraction.
  • Conduct ligand binding assays including ELISA.
  • Characterize proteins via chromatography, electrophoresis, and light scattering.
  • Execute experimental plans and analyze samples per standard procedures.
  • Present project status updates to the Assay Development team and maintain documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with 2+ years of biotech or fast-paced lab experience.
  • Experience generating high-quality, reproducible data with accurate documentation.
  • Knowledge of protein and DNA chemistry.
  • Experience with molecular biology, ligand binding, or protein characterization assays.
  • AAV-based gene therapy experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with SoftMaxPro, QuantStudio, Empower, or similar software.
