Objective
The objective of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Fresh Breath Mouthwash in reducing oral malodor. The study aimed to provide valuable insights into the product's effectiveness in improving oral wellness.
Process
A 3-week trial was conducted with 66 subjects in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled setting. Participants were divided into active and placebo groups and instructed to use the mouthwash twice daily. Trained professionals conducted safety and efficacy assessments at various intervals, focusing on malodor reduction. Oral safety assessments were performed by a licensed dentist, while malodor assessments were conducted by a panel of judges using a nine-point scale.
Results
The results revealed a significant reduction in oral malodor in the active group compared to the placebo group at both the 12-hour and three-week assessments. Statistical analysis confirmed the validity of these findings. No adverse events were reported, indicating a high level of safety associated with the product's use.
Conclusions
The study demonstrated the ability of Fresh Breath Mouthwash to effectively reduce oral malodor without any safety concerns. The product's efficacy in providing long-lasting fresh breath was supported by the study's outcomes. These results validate claims of 'up to 24 hours fresh breath' when used as directed, benefiting both consumers and healthcare professionals seeking reliable oral care solutions.
